My pre-teen pullets were allowed to have a couple of rooster friends over for a block party a few evenings ago. Being the good mother that I am I always give them lots of supervision and snacks. Both of these things are a must for a pre-teen party no matter the species. The snacks provided vary from party to party….pancakes, cornbread and fruit are some regulars. But today was special. Today I had leftover Sonic French fries! Not just a couple an ENTIRE serving still in their cardboard container.

Did they care about the fact the fries sat in the car all afternoon? That they were cold? That they had no ketchup? Nope. They were “Oh My GOD!!!! Momma brought home FRENCH FRIES!!!!!” And as you know, you throw a good party and have good snacks, some adults are bound to show up, just to make sure the kids are alright (whatever Randy, we know you are after those fries). So the next time you want to throw an extra special adolescent chicken party, just run by Sonic and order some fries. Better go ahead and get the extra-large otherwise the cops may have to get involved, ’cause chickens….they don’t share.

The Gathering.

“Hey sister, share that fry!”

“Not a chance, find your own fry!”

“Leave me alone people!”

The turkeys thought they were invited. They weren’t. Randy asked them, rather unkindly, to leave.

Nosey remained unimpressed with the happenings.

“Mama, this thingy is empty. Can you please run back to town?”

“Next time be sure and Super Sonic it okay?” Okay.
