Wednesday October 23rd was spent in the South San Juan Wilderness in southern Colorado. Between the morning and evening elk hunt I managed to squeeze in time for a quick jaunt about the countryside.
Here is what I saw.
It was really quite challenging to ‘walk’ in a new place, my eyes had to be open for things I wasn’t really used to seeing or noticing. Plus every time I bent down to take a photo I lost all my air and nearly keeled over since we were camped about 10,000 feet. Hopefully I’ll have the chance to practice more in the future!
🙂
What a stunning gallery! I saw these and thought… hmm, this doesn’t look like the Piney Woods… haha! Beautiful, beautiful pictures – today’s ramble is a real treat! Thank you for taking us along with you. Mother Hen
