I always wanted a silkie in my flock and about 2 years ago my good friend, Amanda, gifted me with two.  One Blue, one Black.  The Blue was a recent victim of crime but the black is doing well.  So I bought a few more colors this year, I’d like you to meet the Partridge Silkie.

  I just love how the feathers look more like fur and this one has SO many colors it is amazing.  Such a pretty girl, even if she doesn’t like having her picture taken!  😉
