I jotted down this silly poem about my favorite beverage awhile back, and considering it is National Coffee Day, I thought I’d share it with you. Now, go brew a cup, pour a cup and drink a cup. I’ll join you in spirit. Happy Coffee Day!
Coffee
Coffee in the morning, Coffee in the night, if I don’t get my coffee there’s going to be a fight!
Black and Hot, Steamy and Wet sounds like a porn but that’s not what you get!
What you get is caffeine, shot straight to the head, turns me back human, least that’s what my husband said!
Brew me a pot, fill me a thermos, pour me a cup!
I don’t need sugar, I don’t need cream, though a little shot of whiskey wouldn’t be obscene.
Coffee how I love you, coffee I adore you, I’ll never trade you in…….failure to consume you, no that would be a sin!
You make me happy, perk me up, warm my hands and my cup. You make the table a wonderful place where stories are shared and memories made.
Always there, always stout, always strong
To keep me going my whole life long.

How nice post. In Finland we are heavy coffee drinkers, You probably know it, but do You know that we also reuse empty coffee bags?
Here is how my wife made:
Bags from empty coffee bags.
Happy blogging!
